How to reduce Food Waste

  • Eat nose to tail, buy the whole animal and use all of its carcass ie, whole chicken v chicken breasts

  • Shop locally sourced, seasonal produce from farmer shops & farmers markets

  • Use common sense with best before & use-by dates.. if food looks and smells good then it will probably be fine to eat

  • Grow, forage and freeze fresh seasonal fruits for a year round supply

  • Refresh limp greens in cold water to give them a new lease of life

Restore a stale loaf with a sprinkle of water and a quick blast in a warm oven or turn into breadcrumbs and freeze
